What is dulce de leche?

Dulce de leche is a sweetened culinary specialty with a slightly caramelized taste that can be enjoyed on its own, as an accompaniment or even as an ingredient. And here is our Pastry Chef’s tip of the month to make your dulce de leche in no time at all.

Recipe for milk jam

1) First of all, place a can of sweetened condensed milk in a cooker.

2) Then cover with water at the level of the box.

3) Cook for 40 minutes over medium heat.

4) Finally, let it rest overnight in the fridge before opening the box. This will result in a better quality dulce de leche.

Most importantly enjoy on bread or pancakes. It’s delicious!
